Marketing Intern - Fall 2025

Boundless Impact Research & Analytics is looking for a Marketing intern to assist in supporting our content creation and marketing efforts. The Marketing Intern is expected to work with Boundless staff and leadership team to manage communications and marketing activities, outreach, and the cultivation of existing and prospective customers. 

The Marketing Intern can work flexibly between 15-20 hours per week, in close collaboration with the leadership team (Chief of Staff and CEO). This is an unpaid internship running from September 2025 through December 2025 or into 2026 depending on availability. This marketing internship will suit candidates with strong communication and writing skills, who are passionate about the cleantech industry and/or climate actions, and who are looking for a high impact internship working directly with the leadership team of a growing startup.

Boundless has completed assessments of dozens of cleantech products and projects —ranging from renewable energy, circular economy, HVAC and disinfection technologies, bioenergy and bioproducts, and innovative water and wastewater technologies. Our services include Life Cycle Assessment, Techno-Economic Analysis, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Footprint projections, and GHG Scenario Analysis, all designed to help companies validate their performance, mitigate risks, differentiate their products, and attract investment.

Responsibilities

Write and copy-edit marketing materials 

Design visuals and marketing materials to support communication efforts (i.e. social posts, newsletters, webinars)

Refine and implement online marketing campaigns through website, social and other marketing vehicles.

Develop customer and prospect engagement materials and activities.

Conduct data entry of prospective members/clients into HubSpot CRM and MailChimp.

Assist in the organization and planning of events, managing marketing and outreach, and design programs.

Assist in drafting letters, emails, reports, and proposals.

Conduct market research.

Qualifications

Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

Basic understanding and strong interest in environmental impact / sustainability measurement.

Demonstrated understanding of marketing actions.

Experience authoring or co-authoring marketing or advertising campaigns. 

Demonstrated project management skills. 

Autonomous and proactive.

Ability to complete tasks on tight deadlines and close attention to details and timelines.  

Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing other related duties as required.

Positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, easy to work with.
