Axios: Startups are getting grilled on emissions

A collaboration between Boundless and Prithvi Ventures was highlighted by Katie Fehrenbacher in the Climate Deals newsletter.

“Early-stage venture firm Prithvi Ventures tells Katie it's working with analytics firm Boundless Impact to do life-cycle assessments (LCAs) of every startup as a condition of investment.

"As a VC, it's your fiduciary responsibility to do this," says Prithvi founder Kunal Sethi.

Boundless' LCAs don't rely on self-reported data or gross estimates and are a rigorous look at the environmental footprint and emissions impact for a startup.”
