Liza Huggins

Research Associate

Liza is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in Environmental Science, focusing on Hydrology and minoring in Business Management. Her research has harmonized carbon flux and meteorological data across the eastern U.S., applying machine learning for gap filling and quality control to inform decision modeling at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.

She has previously worked in technical environmental consulting at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where she independently developed a framework for regulatorily defensible AI use in environmental compliance. She also has experience in clean energy markets and running multi-framework compliance simulations.
