Marketing Copywriter/Editor
Boundless is seeking a Marketing Copywriter/Editor to edit documents, help develop our story language and write and refine our online content. The successful candidate has strong marketing content, copywriting, and copy editing skills, and applies best practices to elevate brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and clarify our value proposition.

Our science-based, data-driven approach is grounded in the proven methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The scores and metrics derived are trustworthy and reliable because they are unbiased and validated by external industry and/or scientific experts. Boundless has the capabilities to perform rapid (and screening) LCA, LCA consistent with ISO 14040, and Scope 1,2,3 emissions inventories.
Boundless has completed assessments of dozens of cleantech products and projects —ranging from renewable energy, circular economy, HVAC and disinfection technologies, bioenergy and bioproducts, and innovative water and wastewater technologies. The resulting company reports frequently influenced investor decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Boundless seeks a part-time Marketing Copywriter/Editor to help create and express our brand voice across multiple channels, ensuring our messaging, communications and online content clearly and compellingly explains our value proposition, connects with current and prospective customers, and strengthens our brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing marketing and communications content that will differentiate us amongst our competition.
- Collaborate with the product development and communications teams to develop/review copy and messaging and develop concepts into content.
- Create easily accessible and user-friendly content across platforms, ensuring an engaging experience that effectively showcases our market-leading capabilities.
- Ensure narrative consistency, voice & tone, as well as accuracy of content.
- Help develop key branding and messaging for use across multiple communications strategies.
- Using creative language to visualize data and tell stories.
- Contribute to campaign ideas that help launch new products, engage our members and bring attention to new initiatives.
- Input to team decisions around market research, message testing, etc.
- Pitch experimental ideas that can ignite our brand in new and unexpected ways.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of copywriting experience across a variety of media.
- Relevant work experience and a passion for sustainability, ESG and/or clean technology industries.
- Ability to adapt tone and style while still ensuring a cohesive brand voice.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills.
- The ability to turn technical concepts and content into colorful copy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write for a variety of audiences and industries.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative, innovative, and responsive personality.
